Creamy Alfredo

Ingredients:
  • 1 pack pasta (fettuccine or linguine), cook pasta according to package directions
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cups all purpose cream
  • 1 ½ cups quickmelt cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • chopped parsley

Procedure:
  1. Cook mushrooms in butter for 2 minutes. Do not brown.
  2. Stir in cream. Cook for another 2 minutes. Do not boil.
  3. Add quickmelt cheese.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with sauce.
  6. Top with parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve.
