Ingredients:
- ½ k pork, cut into 1x1 ¼inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- 5 pieces calamansi, juiced
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon ground black peppercorns
- ¼ cup sugar
- barbeque skewers, soaked in water
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cooking oil
Procedure:
- In a bowl, combine garlic, onion, calamansi juice, soy sauce, black peppercorns and sugar. Mix thoroughly.
- Marinate pork in mixture for 1 hour.
- Thread meat on skewers.
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, oil and a little of the marinade mixture.
- Grill meat over hot coal. Brush each side with ketchup, oil and marinade mixture. Cook until well done.
