Pork Barbeque


Ingredients:
  • ½ k pork, cut into 1x1 ¼inch pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 5 pieces calamansi, juiced
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground black peppercorns
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • barbeque skewers, soaked in water
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cooking oil


Procedure:

  1. In a bowl, combine garlic, onion, calamansi juice, soy sauce, black peppercorns and sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Marinate pork in mixture for 1 hour.
  3. Thread meat on skewers.
  4. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, oil and a little of the marinade mixture.
  5. Grill meat over hot coal. Brush each side with ketchup, oil and marinade mixture. Cook until well done.
